Adei Radio — Former Afghan President Hamid Karzai has once again called for Afghan girls and women to have access to education and employment, expressing hope in an interview with an Italian media outlet that Afghanistan will stand on its own feet and become successful.
Karzai said he wants educational and employment opportunities to be provided to all Afghan girls and women, including his three daughters.
He
said he is working to achieve that goal.
Karzai also said he is encouraging the Islamic Emirate
government to lift restrictions on girls’ education and women’s employment.
